Strategic Plan 2006-07 to 2007-08 (1 August 2006)
The Council recently approved its Strategic Plan for 2006-07 and 2007-08.   The Strategic Plan outlines the Council’s objectives for the next two years, identifies key issues facing the industry, identifies strategies to be undertaken and also details proposed project activities proposed to be undertaken in the coming two years  (more...)

Australian Logistics Assured (1 August 2006)
Australian Logistics Assured (ALA) in Tasmania was launched by Hon. Bryan Green, Minister for Infrastructure, Energy & Resources,on 26 May 2006.  The Australian Logistics Assured program (ALA) is a system of integrated performance standards, covering all members of the export cold chain. Through development of full chain performance standards including time and temperature, and a comprehensive monitoring program to verify compliance, the ALA system provides your supply chain with a "Cold Chain Guarantee". ALA brings together existing supply chain quality assurance systems to better maintain product specifications throughout the entire supply chain.    A number of Tasmanian companies have shown interest in participation in the program.
